Someone is waiting to meet you!
Hi! My children’s school has a program for first graders that partners them with a Grand Friend once a month for the year. My brain and heart are exploding with all the potential learning opportunities and connections that are possible, so I am going to see what I can do to bring a similar program to our community.
I am so excited to potentially make Grand Friends into a program for K-8 students in the Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, and Englewood areas. Right now I am just researching what the needs are from both sides (parent/child and local nursing homes), and would love to know if you’re interested in participating in a program that couples our elderly communities with our kids.
I am hopeful that this will be so much more than just visiting and I would love to connect with you about it! Right now I am just gaging interest and will send out an email with more details, so please join my list and pass this along to friends, family, and neighbors.
